I noticed eventid 32 (disk) on a fresh install of server 2012 R2 on a T-420.
Would I be correct in thinking that this is expected and is merely informing us that the raid controller has write caching enabled. Again would I be correct in assuming that the Perc310 controller has on board battery so is safe to leave write caching turned on?

The driver detected that the device \Device\Harddisk0\DR0 has its write cache enabled. Data corruption may occur.
